In this module, students explore the creation of estranged analytiques by combining multiple architectural views—plan, section, and elevation—into a single, cohesive assemblage. Using digital collaging techniques, students mix diverse projection types (axonometric, oblique, perspective) to produce layered compositions that challenge conventional representation. The goal is to create estrangement, encouraging students to challenge the familiarity of architectural drawing conventions and experiment with hybrid forms. By juxtaposing and recontextualizing various elements, students reveal unexpected spatial relationships, complexities, and new interpretations within their designs.
